Moxie is so happy to announce we are moving our act to Preservation Hall.  Still in gorgeous downtown Lakeland, but located closer to the action on Main Street in the old Lillians location(near Linksters/Nathan’s Menwear).  This venue offers better lighting, a larger stage, and more room for you- our fans.

Because of the bigger and better venue we are also going to rotate our shows to be every other month and about 2 hours long, rather than just an hour.  I know you like seeing us every month, but we want to give you the best show possible- which means taking more time to develope our routines, invest in costumes/props, and produce a higher quality show.  It also gives us, the performers, a little more breathing room as some of us are in school, work full time, live outside of Lakeland, and you know, have resposibilities outside of Moxie ^_^

So get ready for Dec 3rd when we unveil our longer format show in our new home!

Come celebrate Gus’ 50th birthday & support the 50@50 Project. Enjoy wine & jazz @ 6pm with LARRY PELTON & Ms. Z, a show by MOXIE LE FEMME DANCE CO. and party to the sounds of THE SOFA KINGS and VJDJ MYKEYMIKE plus the artwork of painter Tony Corbitt. Great food, award winning Bar-B-Q and quality libations will be available. The 50@50 Project is a new movement encouraging a year of volunteerism @ age 50. Donations from the event to benefit: Women’s Breast Cancer Awareness, The Polk Senior Games, The Rotary Foundation, and WWII Veteran’s Honor Flight of West Central Florida. Hope to see you there!

THE SOFA KINGS (8pm-Midnight Classic Rock 80’s Dance Party Tunes)
Rich is our favorite local musical hero @ 210 combine that with Al, the best front man in town & a lost brother in arms, they become “Lakeland’s Band”.
VAVAVAVOOM REVUE & MOXIE LE FEMME Dance Company (9-10pm show)
Our legendary performance art burlesque show, circa 2007 by Deah Rae Ennis, has performed at The Platform events, the Polk Theater & 1st Fridays.
DJVJ MYKEYMIKE (10pm until 2am)
From Tampa to Orlando nobody does it better than Video DJ, producer & artist MYKEYMIKE. He is absolutely the best club DJ & our trusted friend.
SPEED PAINTER TONY CORBIT (Artwork Exhibited on the walls)
The popular artist first performed @ 210 in 2007 as part of the burlesque revue & since sold over 400 paintings. 20 new paintings will be for sale.
